Former Pro Athlete | Coach and Mentor in Mindset, Mental Skills, Mental Health, and Mental Wellness: Working with Elite Athletes [Youth, College, Pro], C-Suite Executives, Entrepreneurs, and High-Caliber Sales Teams. Having retired from Professional sport in 2013, Rich successfully transitioned into business leadership and entrepreneurship, serving as Head of Brand Partnerships for the NASCAR™ #98 team and as co-founding Executive Director of the Professional Triathletes Organization. He later became the exclusive U.S. distributor of Zone3™ triathlon gear and went on to found and serve as CEO of Stingray™, a lifestyle gear brand. The company became renowned for its support of four marine life conservation charities and the Navy SEAL Foundation. Rich sold the Stingray™ brand assets in 2023 and now focuses on his main passion: helping the world's elite achieve mental health equilibrium, maximize mental performance and leadership excellence, and advance their careers. Rich was a Pro athlete for 21 years, supported by Nike™, Gatorade™, and the British Olympic World Class Performance Program, among others. Over the course of his career, he won 9× National Pro Championship titles, earned 7× Ironman™ event Pro podiums, and secured 2× U21 World Championship silver medals. Rich also claimed Pro victories at iconic events including the London Triathlon, Ironman™ 70.3 UK, and Powerman™ UK. He remains the only British triathlete in history to have won National Pro Championship titles across Sprint, Olympic, and Long-Distance triathlon, as well as Duathlon. Rich proudly represented Scotland at the Manchester Commonwealth Games and Great Britain at the Sydney Olympic Games [DNS]. As the foundation of all training, Rich mentors his business clients in mental health, facilitating meaningful conversations, and providing long-term mental wellness solutions. 🏆 In Sport, Rich coaches elite athletes through the loss of identity that accompanies retirement, addressing financial literacy and helping them transition their athlete mindset and mental skills into successful careers in corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, seminar speaking, or corporate coaching; he can also provide sales skills training and place them in a top-tier sales role. As the starting point of the programs, Rich mentors athlete clients in mental health, removing stigma, ensuring access to appropriate clinical care, and mapping out sustainable, long-term support.
